Smong Boardgame

Smong is a folktale from Simeulue Island (Indonesia) which tells about the legend of a dragon that often appears and causes tsunami. The people in Simeulue use the word “Smong” as a mitigation measure when the sea water recedes as a sign of an impending tsunami. Therefore, this boardgame was created in order to provide mitigation education to the community based on the folklore of Simeulue.
